Prevent & Allow updating Klipper configuration files

This prevents updating Klipper configuration files.

By default when Klipper is started or restarted, the service file checks if the Klipper configuration files are up to date and not modified and if necessary restores the original files.

Note

This procedure must be repeated after restoring the printer to factory settings.

Prevent updating Klipper configuration files

  • Make sure you have followed this Install Helper Script section before.

  • In the script, enter in [Tools] Menu by typing 5 , validate with Enter and select Prevent updating Klipper configuration files:

  • Once prevented, Klipper configuration files will no longer be updated.

Allow updating Klipper configuration files

  • Make sure you have followed this Install Helper Script section before.

  • In the script, enter in [Tools] Menu by typing 5 , validate with Enter and select Allow updating Klipper configuration files:

  • Once allowed, Klipper configuration files will be updated as necessary.
